Jeff Langford is an active community member, business owner and resident of High River.
He enjoys volunteering in many different groups, from being an active Rotarian to Vice President of the High River Agriculture Society.
As former president of the River City Classics Car Club, Jeff proudly orchestrated bringing Eamons Garage to the town, involved in everything from the initial calls to locate the building, negotiating the purchase, bringing in donations and volunteers to finding teams for the move and remodelling.
Jeff is one of the three local investors to start up the High River Sunset Drive in. As part of the original management team, Jeff was involved in the start up and promotion of the drive in, as well as helping in the actual construction.
High River Sunset Drive In is a non-profit business that was solely designed to give back to local charities and promote High River.
Jeff has been actively involved in several local charity organizations, as a gold sponsor of the Rotary golf tournament gold for the past two years, the Foothills Rally for Hospice and the Rowan House Emergency Shelter.
As both an owner and entrepreneur, Jeff has considerable experience in business. Jeff and his wife, Jeannie, are currently the owners and operators of Sierra Energy Group Inc & Sierra Storage Corp in High River. Jeff started his business experience in the oil and gas equipment sales and evolved into heavy equipment sales with the oil and gas turn down.
He is the past vice president of Titan Logics Burner management division, which is one of Alberta’s fastest growing companies. Jeff also worked as a field service manager for Natco Canada before being headhunted by Aker Solutions, a global company that provided oil and gas engineering equipment based out of Norway, where he managed new product development and was a field service manager.
As much as Jeff enjoys his business and community, spending time with his wife, Jeannie, and daughter, Sierra, are his two greatest passions.
